Yes, it’s portable! All about moving your Video Booth
“We are curious if the video booth can be moved to different locations at our venue? Is there a risk of losing videos if we were to unplug it and set up somewhere else?”
We get this question pretty often from customers getting ready to receive their Voast booth for the first time. It’s a great question, and we love that you are putting so much thought and care into the planning of your special event!
Here at Voast, we know that flexibility is key for many of the moving parts at your event. Anywhere there is a gathering or celebration around people there needs to be the option for things to change or to be adjusted at a moment's notice.
Maybe you mapped out the perfect spot to place your Voast booth at your venue, but something changes at the last minute and the speakers need to be there now.
Or, you were planning on having the booth set up outside, then the day comes and, surprise, it's monsooning!
In any case, the Voast booth can be moved around to different parts of your venue. Or if you’re having a gathering that accompanies your main event, like a pre wedding cocktail party, you can pack up your booth and move it to a different venue entirely.
There is no need to worry about losing footage that you’ve already captured on the booth. The footage is saved locally each time a guest completes an interview, and backed up for the cloud. Our in-house tech team has made this software with flexibility in mind: for the ever changing needs of your event.
We do highly recommend keeping the booth plugged in as often as you can however, this will ensure that the booth is well charged and ready to be used whenever you need it! (Plus, the ring light will keep everyone looking #flawless.)
We also highly recommend having a strong WIFI or cellular connection at your venue(s) to ensure a speedy uploading process for all of your captured media.
You can unplug the video booth, move it around and use it as often as you need during your entire rental duration.
