Married in the Mountains: Kaitlin & Dan captured *all the feels* with a Voast Video Booth
Kaitlin and Dan celebrated with an intimate wedding of 60 close friends and family in the Cascade Mountains outside of Seattle, WA. With a Voast Video + Photo Booth instead of a standard photo booth, they were able to bottle up the feeling of being loved on and celebrated by their people.
Wedding Guest Interviews
To capture in the moment videos from all their guests, a video guest book was an obvious choice.
Though they had a photographer and videographer capturing the main milestones of the day, they also wanted guest interviews similar to the home videos they grew up with in the 90’s and early 00’s.
Kaitlin and Dan chose the following prompts for their video guest guest book:
Q1. What is your first or favorite memory of us? Share the story!
Q2. What’s your best date idea for the newlyweds?
Q3. What are your words of advice for us newlyweds?
Q4. Raise a toast! Share your well-wishes, party banter or anything else you'd like to say. Give us the good stuff!
“I like the idea of having Voast at my wedding because it will give us a live memory of the people we love the most in the world. Written words are great, but our video guestbook will be the perfect time capsule to remember the way our guests looked, felt, and sounded on our big day.”— Kaitlin
The all-in-one photo & video booth
In addition to guest interviews, the Voast Booth also took three photos at the end of the interview, keeping the playful fun of a photo booth and giving guests an easy way to immediately download and share.
Their guests had a blast leaving dozens of messages the couple would watch back later!
As they danced the night away, their friends and family took turn visiting the video booth on the way to the bar and the buffet, each giving their own well wishes to the newlyweds.
An easy DIY Video Booth Set Up
Before the wedding, they ordered a sign to accompany the booth, using one of the Voast Sign Templates and personalizing it. On the day of, assembly was easily done in 5 minutes.
With a sleek design of the booth itself, the Voast Video Booth looked right at home with the modern architecture that highlighted the stunning natural views.
Congratulations, Kaitlin and Dan!
