Everyone Welcome: why we set out to create a video booth for all ages.

“Wishing you a lifetime of happiness,” they scribble. It’s lovely. And forgettable.

That same guest, if given the chance to speak into a camera for 30 seconds, would probably say something you’d never want to forget.

At Voast, we’ve always believed that the best memories come from the people who showed up to celebrate with you. And if you give them a simple, welcoming way to speak from the heart — they will.

Like a Photo Booth, But More Meaningful

Photo booths have become a staple at weddings for good reason: they’re fun, interactive, and they give guests something to do (and take home). But a photo can only capture so much. A look. A laugh. A moment.

A video guest book captures voices. Stories. Advice. Emotion.

It lets your friends and family speak directly to you — not just pose. And it gives you something to revisit year after year, long after the cake is gone and the photos are framed.

Designed for Everyone

The challenge, of course, is making something high-tech feel low-pressure.

We’ve all seen how some video booths or app-based systems can leave guests feeling unsure. “Do I press this?” “Am I recording?” “Wait, is this sending to Instagram?”

That’s why we designed Voast to feel more like a photo booth than a piece of tech. It’s plug-and-play, with a clear screen, simple prompts, and no logins, apps, or QR codes.

Guests walk up, tap the screen, and record. That’s it. The experience feels natural — even familiar — and yes, even your dad will know what to do.

The Voices You’ll Be Glad You Captured

Here’s what’s been surprising: it’s not just the younger guests who love it.

Some of the most heartfelt messages we’ve seen have come from grandparents, great-aunts, uncles, and family friends who aren’t usually the first to jump in front of a camera. But because Voast is easy, discreet, and inviting, they do.

And that’s the magic.

Because at the end of the day, the best moments aren’t always the loudest. They’re the quiet congratulations. The unexpected wisdom. The tearful toast from someone who would never say it with a microphone but has no trouble saying it straight to you.

More Than a Memory

Voast is more than a guest book. It’s a time capsule of your people — who they were, how they showed up, and what they had to say on one of your most meaningful days.

It’s the easiest way to make sure everyone is included — and remembered — without needing a film crew or fancy tech.

And like a photo booth, guests want to use it. But unlike a photo booth, you get more than snapshots.

You get stories.
